"Useful but not required for JetBoil" 12/12/12
Tools fold for compact carrying but remember that you can only boil the water in your JetBoil system so you really shouldn't be stirring anything in there, now should you?Great set if you need folding utesils but not a requirement to use the jetboil.

They are compact and now part of my camping stuff. Lightweight and useful but wouldn't want to use them in heat. They are more for just serving things after they have cooled down. Kinda flimsy or thin but they do their job.

This is a great set for the price. Actually turned out to be more sturdy than I anticipated. Don't worry about food getting caught up in the sliding mechanisms. Geniuses will quickly discover that the two ends fully separate.. making them easy to clean. Incredibly sturdy for plastic. I mean.. you could probably spear a squirrel with the fork if need be.

These utensils snap down to a small size and work well with the jetboil pcs that I use. They are durable and easy to clean. I would recommend these to anyone using a jetboil system because they are long enough and can scrape the insides with out hurting the coating.

These are good to have on long hiking adventures because they are so light and you have the ability to shrink their size for storage while expanding them to dig down into the larger pots. I'd recommend getting a pair for your next adventure as they seem well built and should last a long time.

My headline sounds kind of lamesky but I mean well. I do a mad amount of hiking and camping.... I nearly always carry along MRE's--I'm really into a minimalistic sport---. These utensils are real official when it comes to what I need it for. I was a little thrown off by the material (they look more heavy duty in the pic then when I received them).... But I'll tell you what: I'll bet money now that, after hammering on them a bit, they last like a champ. I really like this set, I recommend it.

This set works great with the Jetboil cooking products. They pack away nicely, and when extended are simple to handle and use. They are thoughtfully designed and seem strong and durable and are easy to keep clean.

Well i got the boyfriend a Jetboil PCS for his birthday(he loved it). So i decided to give these a try as well as part of his xmas gift. I couldnt resist leaving them alone and the package in tact and have already used them...very nice and sturdy. Hope he doesnt mind a used gift.
"Light and long" 03/11/09
These things are great. They extend so you don't burn your fingers while cooking. Then you snap them back for eating and packing. Best of all, they are nice and light so they don't add too much weight. Although, I would opt for 1 spork over having both the Fork and the Spoon.
