I got the Spectron 4 version, which blocks 95% of light. Used it for all of my mountaineering trips for the last 2 years, this thing is solid. Tint is a sort of amber colour, which may not be everyone's thing. If you look at it from the front you can use it as an impromptu mirror!!! My head is about 7 1/4" and these fit just nice. Only thing is my nose bridge is rather low so i had to put some foam pads at the nose bridge to raise that up a little
"Great Glasses...But The Frame Finish Wears Off"

The glasses fit great and are great for most outdoor activities when it is really bright (mountaineering, skiing, hiking, etc.). The lenses block A LOT of light, so they are not a good option for mountain biking. I have worn these on multiple Colorado 14ers in bright sunlight and have never experienced eye fatigue. One negative is the matte finish on the pair of glasses I have has worn away at the frame tips. However, for the price, I will live with it.
I love these sunglasses more than I love yogurt. That says a lot. I really love yogurt. They fit nicely on my huge head. The removable side pieces came in handy when I was on the upper portion of Mt. Rainier. I wear them everyday now. I'm actually wearing them right now... in the dark.
"Good, cheap (price) robust (I always wanted to say that)"

Bought them because I'm cheap and needed a good pair of glacier glasses. Good selection of lens choices. I keep a pair as pack-ups. While I've gone on to buy a pair of "better"=more expensive glasses, I think these are still my favorites. Hey guys, great for beach viewing.
These glasses fit beautifully. The sideshields look a bit small holding the glasses in your hand, but once they mount your nose you realize they are everything you need and more. Don't be a ninny, order a pair!
"I highly recommend these, Get them while you can!"

Ah yes!
The Julbo Dolgan Bronze Alti-Spectron X6 sunglasses.

With such a big name, you'd be inclined to think that this product must be either a total piece of useless plastic-polymer (but then again Moosejaw wouldn't be selling it, as mad as they are) or just an amazing investment in a well crafted piece of optical goodness!

Well let me tell you my POV on the issue - the latter applies here!

First of all, those sunglasses are extremely well designed for people with a relatively narrow face structure - fitting snug on your nose and between your ears, while covering your eyes completely and still allowing you to have a very W I D E field of view without the actual fr
