"My favorite base layer" 04/30/12
I have this top in white tea which is a really pretty cream color. I've worn it backpacking, climbing and mountaineering in both above 80F and below 50F weather. It's great for keeping the sun off my skin when it's hot, helping me stay hydrated and cooler in the long run, and it helps hold in body heat in cooler weather to keep me warm. I'm normally an XS in everything, including Arc'teryx, but I sized up to S because I didn't like the snug and short fit of the XS. I'm 5'2" / 100 lbs and the XS is skin tight and hits just below my waist, whereas the S is still form fitting and hits mid-hip.
"LOVE IT!" 10/22/11
This top is perfect, although like most Arcteryx clothing, it does run a little small.. so if in doubt size up!! I wore this top in the magenta for four days backcountry hiking and camping in yellowstone and it kept me warm, dry and smelling fresh the whole time... Am tempted to buy more colors so I have options in the winter!! Worth every penny!!
"Love it!" 05/19/11
I bought this top in Magnata color. I love everything about it. The color is beautiful and happy, the fit and quality is super. I have worn it few times and it wicks moisture very well. I get sweaty very easily and this top worked awesome and kept me dry.
"Girlfriend absolutely loves it" 01/08/10
Bought this for my girlfriend and was worried about size because she is 5'10 and skinny and many times clothes are not long enough. I bought a medium for her and it fits great. She runs with it all the time and it helps keep her very warm. A little expensive but with how much she wears it I will definitely buy her another when I get the chance.
"This shirts performance makes up for its design flaws." 02/12/08
I own this shirt in several colors. It is a great snug-fitting base layer. While it is a bit short, because of the snug-fit I normally tuck it into my running pants gasp!. A downside of this shirt is that the neck opening is so small that I have trouble getting my big ole head through even when it is fully-unzipped. An upside to this is that it is very effective at keeping the cold air off my neck.
"You should probably own one." 07/30/07
Love this shirt! I took it on a backacking trip to Canada and out of the 5 items of clothing ithat I took not including underwear it was by far the best smelling, best looking, warm when you wanted and cool when you wanted and overall favorite article of clothing by the end of the adventure.
"Best thing next to skin... or over a tank top" 02/12/07
I got this along with 2 ArcTeryx fleeces and thought that I may have to return this for a smaller size since I also bought this in a S. But it fits perfectly snug. It's tight but not sufficating. I love the green color too. It's really bright lime green. it's almost like that bright green you find in a crayola box. I'll be buying this in black to wear climbing then out to a party for sure!
