"Good bag for not much $$" |
09/12/09 |
| Nice bag, does what it is supposed to, just wish it had a real compression bag to stuff it into. Nothing wrong with the bag though. | |

"Recommended 3 season bag" |
09/11/09 |
| I bought this bag for my wife. I have a Marmot Helium. I have slept in both. It is just as warm as the Helium and is comfortable. Using a compression bag it will compress to the same size of my Helium, 6"x9" and fits into the bottom of Baltoro backpacks. My wife sleeps cold, so I wanted a bag that she could use down to about 40F, there is no way she will Winter camp with me. My daughter, who sleeps ultra-cold has used it in 35F weather and was a little cold, but this was with a short pad. My wife has only slept in it down to 60F and she said it was very comfortable. I have used it down to 15F. Overall, a great bag worth the money if found on sale, paid $159. EN rating is right on. | |

"Combine it with a lining and you have a erfect 3 season sleeping bag!" |
08/05/09 |
| If you buy a sleep bag liner and combine these two you got a perfect match. During summer sleep in the liner and use the bag as a blanket, during really cold autumn night zip up and you will stay warm through the night. | |

"Awsome Bag for the money!" |
06/29/09 |
| Tested this bag out over a weeklong trip throughout the Canadian Rockies and along the West Coast trail... (too sad I had to come back...) Stayed nice and toasty in the 20 F temps and even with the high humidity of the Vancouver Island area stayed warm and dry! Never had a prob with the bag. Great replacement for my NF bag! Not to mention weigh lighter! Moosejaw service team rocks even though they forgot my flag! Took some awsome picts... too bad no flag to advertise for ya! Tourists were paying more attention to what I had to say about the trails than the ranger did again... Too bad for him that my gear is better than his was..LOL Gotta LTM! | |

"Best Bang for the Buck" |
04/18/09 |
| I bought this bag at a 20% discount, but would have gladly paid full price for it ($210). For the money, you can't find a lighter, warmer, and more compressible bag. Used in a wide range of conditions from spring nights on the olympic peninsula to windy winters in the cascades (with a few layers on). All-around excellent bag with an unbeatable price. | |

"Cost/Benefit Ratio = Unbeatable" |
03/05/09 |
| Awesome bag, quite warm (coming from a cold sleeper), packs down great, good weight/cost ratio, good zippers. 15 degree bag is an awesome all-purpose rating, too. Can vent it and not be pouring sweat on warm nights, or throw in a silk or fleece liner to add 10+ degrees on a chilly night! Just get a waterproof stuff sack - useless if wet... | |

"Can't go wrong with this bag" |
09/14/08 |
| Great bag for the money. My husband used this when we hiked the Andes and stayed very warm and comfortable in below 30 degree weather, even when he was ill from the altitude. Then bag was easy to move around in, zipper did not snag, and most of all, it is lightweight and easily compressible in a nice compression sack like th eVent Sea to Summit. | |

"Get it." |
08/23/08 |
| I just took this bag up in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and it worked out wonderfully on cool low 40 degree nights. With the sawtooth , I see it like this. When you're buying a car, it all depends on the bang-for-your-buck deal, right? I didn't have enough money for the Hydrogen let's call that the Benz, and wasn't going to settle for something that's going to break down in 2 years Big Agnes, Sierra Design, etc.. So I went Mid class luxury, and there is nothing wrong with that. My Conclusion The Sawtooth in the Toyota Camry of sleeping bags. a fully loaded Camry. Don't get this if your going ultralight, but it ain't exactly heavy. | |
