"Best Available Lip Balm Known to Mankind" 09/03/10
This is the best of the best when it comes to lip balm. I can't survive a day without it. It has an incredibly soothing and refreshing mint flavor, which isn't overpowering. Living in Michigan this is my go to lip balm for chapped lips. I highly recommend everyone go out and by one for you and your loved ones.
"Great taste!" 05/30/09
I've been using Burts Bees lip balm for years and love it! The taste is unbeatable and refreshingly minty. What's also great is that it sometimes gives a slight tingle to your lips when applied. The only drawback is putting this product on extremely sunburned lips...which isn't too pleasant. I don't think it has spf in it, but it does protect pretty well against wind and cold (i.e. skiing).
"Ok - not my fav though." 04/13/09
Here's the deal - I really like a lot of Burt's Bees products (like the lotions & the colored chapstick type stuff), but this chapstick leaves a lot to be desired & usually gets left in the drawer in favor of my Dermatone or Naked Bee. First of all - no sunscreen which means sunburned lips. Second - the peppermint burns the living he** out of chapped or cracked lips (not a soothing tingle at all, but a rush to cold water to get rid of the burn). On healthy lips, it does keep them smooth and it tastes good, but it is not my favorite by far.
