The AlphaLite Cutlery by Sea To Summit uses a durable hard-anodized aircraft grade aluminum combined witha sleek-yet-strong shape to create an extremely lightweight utensil at a surprisingly affordableprice. By hard anodizing the aluminum it forms a kind of ‘exoskeleton’, so the shape of theutensils can be slimmer and lighter. This hardened “shell” also encapsulates the aluminum, sothere is NO risk of the alloy “leaching” onto food. Alpha Set includes a Knife, Fork and Spoon (3 items) plus a mini-carabiner to hold them together. The individual utensils have several holes punched out of the handle to reduce weight and one hole is hexagonal shaped to serve as a hex wrench.
